What I hope to do at this point is really inspire Cooler Master to take this unit back to the drawing board and offer us an updated version. I found very few issues with the unit. To be specific, I loved the plastic risers, but the brittle plastic may break if they are installed any way other than "perfect". There are ways to get around this little issue, so I was still able to use my Test Bench V1.0 with pleasure. An extra foot wouldn´t hurt either, but the flex of the floor didn´t translate to any deviation of the motherboard tray, so I can´t say it is a major concern.

For those who really want a cleaner desk when testing new products, but want to spend as little as possible and are the proud owners of two left hands (or no hands) then this may be a good choice. However, if you´re not the mother or girlfriend of an IT enthusiast, you´ll probably either continue using the cardboard box (which comes with the hardware anyway!) or a more elaborate test bench which can handle extras such as additional hard disk drives, fans and water cooling gear. We thank Cooler Master for giving us the opportunity to bench on their latest product, we hope to see a revised version in the future that will meet our more extreme demands. Ben je een fervent overclocker, benchmarker of hardware freak? Dan moet je deze gewoon in huis halen, no doubt about it. Wees wel snel, want Cooler Master maakt er maar een paar per maand en die zijn altijd al snel uitverkocht. De Cooler Master Test Bench is een eenvoudig product, dat toch een welverdiende vijf sterren krijgt omdat er gewoon niks aan hoeft te veranderen. De enige, maar niet noodzakelijke toevoeging, zou verlichting betreffen. De Bouweenpc.nl Best Buy award is dan ook een eerlijke beloning voor dit gevonden gat in de markt.
