I added some to this book; 2 Extra Chapters from Dr. Bates' Original 1919-1920-1940 Editions, Antique Pages from his monthly Better Eyesight Magazine, Newspapers, Close and Far C, E Eyecharts with Directions. Three Charts are copies of Original Antique Test Cards created by Dr. Bates and used by him and his Assistant, wife Emily C. Lierman, A. Bates in his New York City offices and clinic. Natural Eyesight (Vision) Improvement 'The Bates Method'. The true function of the eyes, visual system. Taught directly from Dr. William Horatio Bates, M. D., the Ophthalmologist that discovered, practiced it in the 1800s-1931. He applied natural methods, relaxation (without use of eyeglasses, surgery, drugs) to return the mind-body-eyes-eye muscles to normal function with healthy eyes and clear eyesight.
