Grundlage dieser Arbeiten bildet eine deutschlandweit durchgeführte empirische Untersuchung (Kaufprozeß/Mobilität 2000) zu den zwei Themengebieten Kaufentscheidungsprozeß beim Automobilkauf und Mobilität . Diese Untersuchung wurde mit einem Budget von DM 25.000,- im Auftrag von Accenture und der DaimlerChrysler Tochter MCC smart GmbH durchgeführt. Der dazugehörige voll codierte 24-Seiten starke Fragebogen ist im Anhang enthalten. Diese Diplomarbeit befasst sich, wie der Titel der Arbeit bereits verdeutlicht, mit der Untersuchung von Motiven, Einstellungen und Verhalten von Personen im Hinblick auf Automobile und Mobilität. Ziel ist es, zu ergründen, ob innerhalb der deutschen Gesellschaft unterschiedliche Personengruppen identifiziert werden können, die sich hinsichtlich ihrer Einstellung gegenüber den Verkehrsmitteln Automobil, ÖPNV, Fahrrad und das Zufußgehen unterscheiden. Ein Hauptbestandteil dieser Arbeit ist demnach die Erstellung einer deutschlandweit repräsentativen (Auto-)Mobilitätstypologie (mittels einer Clusteranalyse), deren Ergebnis eine differenzierte Betrachtungsweise von Personengruppen in der Gesellschaft hinsichtlich ihrer Mobilitätsorientierungen zulässt. Weitere zentrale Fragestellungen dieser Arbeit sind z.B., welchen Einfluss neue Technologien (Internet, Navigationssysteme, etc.) und das Verkehrsaufkommen auf das Mobilitätsverhalten haben. Darüber hinaus wird untersucht wie hoch die Umsteigebereitschaft auf zweisitzige Kleinwagen mit Zusatzleistungen (Mobilitätsangeboten) ist und wie (zweisitzige) Kleinwagen beurteilt werden. Die Interpretation und Auswertung der gewonnenen Erkenntnisse, wird unter besonderer Berücksichtigung von Automobilherstellern vorgenommen. Gang der Untersuchung: Im ersten Teil der Arbeit werden theoretische Grundlagen zum Thema Mobilität geklärt. Wobei der Begriff Mobilität definiert, die verschiedenen Formen der Mobilität dargestellt und ein Modell zur Erklärung des Mobilitätsverhaltens präsentiert wird. Im Anschluss wird ein Überblick darüber gegeben, welche Faktoren unser Mobilitätsverhalten determinieren. Als Abschluss des theoretischen Teils wird auf das Automobil, insbesondere auf Kleinwagen im Sinne einer Leitbilduntersuchung eingegangen. Aus dem theoretischen Teil heraus werden Hypothesen formuliert, operationalisiert und daraus der schon erwähnte Fragebogen entwickelt. Der dritte Teil der Arbeit stellt die Ergebnisse der Feldarbeit dar und untersucht die zentralen Fragestellungen. Von besonderer Bedeutung ist in diesem Zusammenhang die Entwicklung einer (Auto-)Mobilitätstypologie. Auf Grundlage pschographischer Kriterien, der Einstellung der befragten Personen zu den verschiedenen Verkehrsmitteln, werden homogene Segmente gebildet, die im Anschluss mit demograpischen und autospezifischen Merkmalen beschrieben werden. Der Rückgang ehelicher Beziehungen gibt Anlass, sich mit dem Bedeutungswandel und der aktuellen Stellung der Ehe in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland zu befassen. Zu Beginn der Arbeit werden die Begriffe Ehe und Familie sowie deren Zusammenhang erklärt. Die historische Entwicklung zum Golden "Age of marriage" und deren Bedeutung für die Ehe folgen. Der mit der Zeit zusammenhängende Begriff der Ehe als Institution wird im Rahmen des dritten Kapitels betrachtet. Er wurde zum Gott hochstilisiert und zum militärischen Vorbild Caesars und Napoleons. Doch worauf beruhte der Erfolg seines Alexanderzuges, der von 336 bis 323 v.Chr. dauerte? Viele Ursachen begünstigten die Entwicklung der Geschichte Alexanders, die hier kaum dargestellt und nur am Rande erwähnt wird. Um seine Geschichte zu verstehen, ist vor allem die Berücksichtigung der Zeitverhältnisse und der Entwicklung ab 350 v.Chr. bedeutsam. Ein Thema, das bisher eher am Rande behandelt wurde, ist die technische Entwicklung unter Alexander dem Großen. Die Zeit Alexanders wird heute als Übergangsphase ins hellenistische Zeitalter gesehen, da ein fulminanter Wandel in Politik, Militär, Wirtschaft und Kultur innerhalb von 75 Jahren stattfand (369-310 v.Chr.). In der Technik bzw. Mechanik wurden neue Innovationen geschaffen, die mit der rückständigen Technik der Antike nichts mehr zu tun hatten. Die neuen technischen Entwicklungen prägten sowohl das alltägliche Leben als auch das Militärwesen. Philipp II., der Vater Alexander des Großen, erkannte als erster die Bedeutung der technischen Möglichkeiten seiner Zeit, um seinen Gegnern überlegen zu sein. Er setzte Belagerungsmaschinen ein und schuf eine eigene technische Truppenabteilung. Bisher waren Belagerungsmaschinen vereinzelt zur Städteverteidigung eingesetzt worden und von geringer Bedeutung. Die ersten Maschinen wurden im Verlauf des 5. Jh. v. Chr. entwickelt. Die militärischen Erfolge Philipps beruhten auch auf seiner technischen Überlegenheit. Er wurde zum Gott hochstilisiert und zum militärischen Vorbild Caesars und Napoleons. Doch worauf beruhte der Erfolg seines Alexanderzuges, der von 336 bis 323 v.Chr. dauerte? Viele Ursachen begünstigten die Entwicklung der Geschichte Alexanders, die hier kaum dargestellt und nur am Rande erwähnt wird. Um seine Geschichte zu verstehen, ist vor allem die Berücksichtigung der Zeitverhältnisse und der Entwicklung ab 350 v.Chr. bedeutsam. Ein Thema, das bisher eher am Rande behandelt wurde, ist die technische Entwicklung unter Alexander dem Großen. Die Zeit Alexanders wird heute als Übergangsphase ins hellenistische Zeitalter gesehen, da ein fulminanter Wandel in Politik, Militär, Wirtschaft und Kultur innerhalb von 75 Jahren stattfand (369-310 v.Chr.). In der Technik bzw. Mechanik wurden neue Innovationen geschaffen, die mit der rückständigen Technik der Antike nichts mehr zu tun hatten. Die neuen technischen Entwicklungen prägten sowohl das alltägliche Leben als auch das Militärwesen. Philipp II., der Vater Alexander des Großen, erkannte als erster die Bedeutung der technischen Möglichkeiten seiner Zeit, um seinen Gegnern überlegen zu sein. Er setzte Belagerungsmaschinen ein und schuf eine eigene technische Truppenabteilung. Bisher waren Belagerungsmaschinen vereinzelt zur Städteverteidigung eingesetzt worden und von geringer Bedeutung.
