In addition to new essays and poems by former fellows, the publication also includes literary essays on the literature of exile as well as exhibition views and texts from all the lonely people, curated by Nana Bahlmann. The book examines the millennia-old tradition of hermitism and, against the backdrop of the Covid pandemic, offers up artistic depictions of loneliness, melancholy, and longing as well as physical and mental withdrawal. Once there, I worked as a waiter at a house of prostitution, I was the croupier of a pocketed a ball roulette and, after moving in to Cartagena of Indies, I became the younger card sharp of the Carib. And those were only my beginnings, because I have also been seeker of treasures, pilferer, smuggler, tribal headman, owner of a casino, involuntary browser..., even an actor of cinema. I have done so many things, and all of them so mistaken, that I probably could have been considered as an example. A bad example, but an example after all. Well then, appreciated possible reader, if you look through this book trying to find wise teachings and correct morals on it, release it right now, because this is not what you are looking for .
