Sumiko Blue Point No. 3 Low-Output MC Tonabnehmer
Sumiko Blue Point No. 3 Low-Output MC Tonabnehmer Test lesen - Logo anklicken! “Sex at Dawn challenges conventional wisdom about sex in a big way. By examining the prehistoric origins of human sexual behavior the authors are able to expose the fallacies and weaknesses of standard theories proposed by most experts. This is a provocative, entertaining, and pioneering book. I learned a lot from it and recommend it highly.” — Andrew Weil, M.D. “Sex at Dawn irrefutably shows that what is obvious—that human beings, both male and female, are lustful—is true, and has always been so…. The more dubious its evidentiary basis and lack of connection with current reality, the more ardently the scientific inevitability of monogamy is maintained—even as it falls away around us.” — Stanton Peele, Ph.D. A controversial, idea-driven work of evolutionary psychology and anthropology that challenges everything you (think you) know about sex, monogamy, marriage, and family. In the words of Steve Taylor (The Fall, Waking From Sleep), Sex at Dawn is “a wonderfully provocative and well-written book which completely re-evaluates human sexual behavior and gets to the root of many of our social and psychological ills.” What if our struggles with monogamy, jealousy, and libido aren’t a personal failure, but an evolutionary mismatch? The Standard Narrative: A look at how the conventional story of human monogamy was built on flawed, outdated assumptions from the Victorian era. Primate Politics: Why our peaceful, hypersexual bonobo cousins may be a better model for our ancestral past than the violent, hierarchical chimpanzee. Foraging Societies: An exploration of our hunter-gatherer ancestors, who lived in fiercely egalitarian groups that shared food, child care, and even sexual partners. Sperm Competition: How human anatomy—from testis size to the female orgasm—points to a prehistory of multiple mating partners for both sexes. Modern Relationships: A new framework for understanding why passion fades, why so many struggle with monogamy, and what it means for our relationships today.
When a Victorian fossil hunter discovers a baby pterodactyl, she vows to protect him, with the help of a fellow scholar—her former fiancé—in this enchanting and transporting historical fantasy. “Scholarly and clever but still full of heart . . . Five baby pterodactyls out of five.”—Heather Fawcett, New York Times bestselling author of the Emily Wilde series Mary Anning wants to be a geomagician—a paleontologist who uses fossils to wield magic—but since the Geomagical Society of London refuses to admit women, she’s stuck selling her discoveries to tourists instead. Then an ancient egg hatches in her hands, revealing a lovable baby pterodactyl that Mary names Ajax, and she knows that this is a scientific find that could make her career—if she’s strategic. But when Mary contacts the Society about her discovery, they demand to take possession of Ajax. Their emissary is none other than Henry Stanton, a distinguished (and infuriatingly handsome) scholar . . . and the man who once broke Mary’s heart. She knows she can’t trust her fellow scholars, who want to discredit her and claim Ajax for their own, but Henry insists he believes in the brilliant Mary and only wants to help her obtain the respect she deserves. Now Mary has a new mystery to solve that’s buried deeper than any dinosaur skeleton: She must uncover the secrets behind the Society and the truth about Henry. As her conscience begins to chafe against her ambition, Mary must decide what lengths she’s willing to go to finally belong—and what her heart really wants. “Mary Anning, magic, politics, and a pterodactyl—with this intriguing mix, this delightful and clever book provides definitive proof that Victorian England needed more dinosaurs!”—Sarah Beth Durst, New York Times bestselling author of The Spellshop Book One of The Geomagician Duology

Ilkeston, Past and Present (Wall Calendar 2026 DIN A4 portrait), CALVENDO 12 Month Wall Calendar A1075414367
For some time, I have been wanting to produce a calendar of my views of my hometown, Ilkeston. I feel lucky to have grown up in such a diverse area of Derbyshire, at that time with heavy industry and rolling countryside, all portrayed here. I draw digitally and inspire myself from numerous sources of reference and memory. More of my work is on display at the Erewash Museum and dedicated to my teacher Jack Cowley who always encouraged my artistic endeavours. High-quality wall calendar with 12 beautiful images. We care about the environment. We avoid overproduction and thus significant amounts of waste as we produce our calendars via print-on-demand in the markets we operate in. This means we can keep our transport routes short and ensure climate-conscious logistical processes. 14 Pages Consisting of 1 Cover | 12 Months | 1 Index Page | Cardboard Spine at the back This calendar was re-released this year with the same images and new dates.
