Die Analyse zeigt, daß Storchs Ausführungen eine Vorwegnahme Hayekscher Gedanken zur Wissensteilung liefern und dieser Frühklassiker bereits die Bedeutung von Humankapitalinvestitionen erkannte. Daneben wird nachgewiesen, daß Storch bereits Fragen diskutierte, die heute in der Neuen Institutionenökonomik und der Neuen Konsumtheorie analysiert werden. Ferner zeigt die Studie, wie "innere Güter" im Modell des Wirtschaftskreislaufes integriert werden können und welchen Beitrag diese Gütergruppe zum Volkswirtschaftlichen Überschuß, bzw. Wertschöpfung leistet.
