Testurteil: "9 out of 10"
Test: Einzeltest: Panasonic SC-BT205
Zitat: Pros: + Picture and sound quality
+ features
Cons: - Slow disc loading
- speaker build quality
- no HDMI inputs
After testing these four systems, the most pleasing observation is that they´re all terrific performers - sound and picture quality is superb across the board. And if we were judging it purely on performance then the Pioneer would have the edge, as its pictures and sound are nothing short of sensational. But while that´s important, it´s only one part of the overall picture - features, value for money and convenience are also vital, particularly when it comes to systems, and sadly the Pioneer falls down in these areas. As the most expensive system on test you´d expect cutting-edge features but the Profile 1.1 spec and the receiver´s lack of HD audio decoding makes it feel outdated. It also takes ages to load Blu-ray discs, and the separate components are more complicated to set up than the other systems. These factors probably won´t bother home cinema enthusiasts who want the best audio visual performance no matter the price, and if that´s the case then you´ll love this system - but everyone else can get more for their money elsewhere. Separating the other three is hard, but in third place we find the Samsung HT-BD1250. This system boasts a truly exceptional feature list - most impressively the ability to add Wi-Fi for BD Live and PC streaming - plus it´s pure eye candy and delivers excellent pictures. But its sound quality isn´t quite up to the same standards as the Panasonic or LG, occasionally struggling to keep control of high frequencies at loud volumes. The impressive Panasonic scoops a runner up spot with superb performance, shedloads of features (including Viera Cast and a built-in iPod dock), but the extra audio sparkle and power afforded by the LG HB954PB - combined with its glorious design, HDMI inputs, quicker disc loading and better digital media support - makes it our favourite.
