The Dell S2340L has a good set of features for the price, but more notably has an excellent display that touts brilliant contrast and colour reproduction. In addition to its uninspiring design, the biggest drawback for the S2340L is probably its lack of connectivity options. But as most devices now support HDMI output - and a lot of monitors in this category follow suit by providing inputs for only this and the standard VGA - we can´t fault it too much. The S2340L is great for all office tasks and viewing images, or even playing video games. Despite its glossy display that does reflect light a little more than we would have liked, we think the resulting image quality compensates for this, especially considering the S2340L´s relatively low price of £180. µ
