| Das Android-Smartphone Desire S von HTC kann bei Amazon bereits bestellt werden. In die Geschäfte der verschiedenen Mobilfunkbetreiber kommt es jedoch erst später. Das HTC Desire S besitzt wie schon das Legend ein Unibody-Gehäuse, das aus einem einzelnen Aluminium-Block gefräst wurde. Als Betriebssystem arbeitet Android in der Version 2.3.3. Das Smartphone bietet einen internen Speicher von zwei Gigabyte und einen Arbeitsspeicher von 768 Megabyte. Eine 8-Gigabyte-Speicherkarte wird außerdem mitgeliefert. Für Fotos steht eine 5-Megapixel-Kamera zur Verfügung, während für die Videotelefonie auf der Frontseite eine Kamera mit VGA-Auflösung verbaut wurde. Verbindungen nimmt das Desire S über DLNA und n-WLAN auf. Bei Vodafone soll das HTC Desire S ab Mai 2011 erhältlich sein. O2 hingegen will das Smartphone schon ab dem 11. April anbieten. Wann das Gerät bei der Deutschen Telekom erhältlich ist, steht noch nicht fest. | |
