Nothing is with out negatives and we only seen one with the K58W and that was when we powered in the case we found that the front fan was slightly noisy. But once the Radeon HD 5850 fired up we could no longer hear the front fan. Besides that we really enjoyed the case.

Zitat: Giving a final answer as to which case is the best is quite hard to do, if we look at the three main candidates for value/performance recommendations, we can see from the outside that they are not that different. Sure the Antec on the left side features the least amount of features and extra bling, but it sells for less than €50, the CM690 and PC-K58 are both found in shops at €70, they both have tool less installation features and plenty of cooling expansion. The CM690 comes with more fans (3 vs 2) but is noisier while not providing better cooling. I/O panel wise the CM690 has them all beat though, with USB, Firewire and eSATA available. The LanCool on the other hand has more easily accessible power/reset button and provides more protection against dust. In the end it will come down to personal preference and what budget you have, we really like the PC-K58 for its innovative tool-less features, cooling potential and overall build quality; while it’s not on par with Lian-Li which goes one step beyond, for those that want to profit of their year long case building experience without paying a high price tag, there’s no better alternative.

Der Lieferumfang ist reichhaltig und beinhaltet alles was man zur Montage braucht. Auch die allgemein gute Verarbeitung des Lancool kann überzeugen. Scharfe Kanten oder andere Auffälligkeiten sind nicht vorhanden. Das Konzept der komplett werkzeuglosen Montage der Komponenten geht teilweise auf, allerdings gibt es hier je nach verbauter Komponente Einschränkungen. Sehr Positiv fielen die Schnellspanner für die Erweiterungskarten und für das Netzteil auf. Überraschen konnte uns die sehr hohe Stabilität, trotz des entfernen des Festplattenkäfigs blieb das Gehäuse sehr stabil. Die verbauten Lüfter konnten ebenfalls überzeugen und sind auch für ein Silentsystem geeignet und erspart dem Anwender den Kauf teurer Alternativlüfter. Was uns nicht gut gefiel war das I/O-Panel, dieses fiel etwas spärlich aus. Ein eSATA-Port wäre hier wünschenswert gewesen. Das Fehlen der Möglichkeit ein externes 3,5-Zoll-Laufwerk zu installieren, reiht sich zu der Negativliste dazu. Auch hätte man dem Anwender eine einfachere Option liefern können, den 140-mm-Frontlüfter zu wechseln. Diese Prozedur ist umständlich und zeitintensiv. Insgesamt bietet Lancool mit dem PC-K58 ein anständiges Gehäuse mit reichhaltigen Features zu einem mehr als fairen Preis. Das Lancool PC-K58 ist bereits ab 69€ bei Caseking zu bekommen.
