Testurteil: "5 out of 5"
Test: Einzeltest: Panasonic HDC-HS200
Zitat: The good: + Panasonic has long used three image sensors in its camcorders to help with colour accuracy, but the HS200 is the first consumer cam to boast larger, low-noise CMOS chips. Get the lighting right and home movies shot through its Leica glassware will look as rich, vibrant and professional as a Hollywood blockbuster, albeit without the annoying presence of Shia LaBoeuf or his CGI toys. The 80 gig hard drive soaks up hours of full-fat 1080p footage and there are manual features aplenty to summon up via the simple touchscreen.
The bad: - It’s not often we criticise a gadget for being too good but the lack of standard definition recording means you’re stuck with crystal clear (and memory hogging) HD video, even if you just want a quick and/or dirty clip for YouTube and/or Facebook. Hard drive camcorders are starting to look a touch on the chubby side these days, too, as Flash storage gets cheaper, lighter and faster than ever.
Do you stroke your goateed chin while watching Austrian documentaries? Do you listen to opera with the lights off? Then this camcorder is for you – it’s all about the better things in life. Even the fact that it’s heavier and more expensive than its lesser rivals just gives you a little thrill.
