The UK’s biggest e-tailer was listing the 3D1 at under £400 at the time of writing, so that’s £50 saved for starters. This is a camera then that delivers the wow of 3D, but when used as a conventional 2D snapshot, unsurprisingly delivers images that are no better than a Panasonic Lumix costing £200. Panasonic has to be congratulated nevertheless for delivering a camera with all this technology crammed in that is not actually not any heavier or bulkier than a standard single lens compact.

Al mag je dan geen hekel hebben aan touchbediening, want de 3D1 bedien je grotendeels via het aanraakgevoelige scherm. En je moet bereid zijn in je eurobuidel te tasten wil je foto’s en video’s opnemen in 3D, want 499 euro is toch een fors bedrag voor een compactcamera. Maar veel keuze heb je niet, want momenteel is Panasonic na Fuji de enige fabrikant die een 3D-compactcamera in het aanbod heeft.
