Testurteil: "3 out of 5"

Zitat: The good: + Compact and undoubtedly rugged, the camcorder also features a superb easy-to-use menu system. The YouTube upload function is as straightforward as any advertising makes it sound: once you connect to a PC via USB the process is almost instantaneous. There’s a useful collection of manual settings and creative features, including horizontal guidelines to help keep your shots level.
The bad: - In our high-definition world it’s difficult to see around the limitations of the 640x480 pixel standard definition recording quality. A tendency for over-exposure from the auto settings gives video a washed-out and often jittery appearance. The zoom is ultra-sensitive, which makes it virtually impossible to control smoothly, and you end up crashing in and out of shots.
The practicality of having a camcorder that’s this durable is a big plus point. However, with a price tag of over £300 the video quality just doesn’t pass muster. Upgrade it to HD and take a look at the pricing of other pocket-sized high-def shooters and then we’re talking.
