Testurteil: "5 out of 5"
Test: Einzeltest: Samsung Smart Oven
Zitat: The good: + If you like your dinners big and your appliances even bigger, Samsung´s got just the ticket for you as its new Smart Oven is absolutely huge and it´ll make your old microwave look tiny in comparison. Inside, there´s a whopping 32 litres of space for you to chuck whatever you want into it. Along with it being a fully featured microwave, there´s also a convection oven and grill thrown in for good measure, and they both perform extremely well - and could even replace your regular oven if you´re hard pressed for space. There´s even a fermentation function which will let you bake your own fresh dough. Samsung´s loaded up its Smart Oven with a intelligent multi-sensor which will make sure your food is cooked to perfection, and we found it worked flawlessly. We popped in a pie into the oven and hit the auto button, and half an hour later, we found our pie cooked just right. Getting to grips with the Smart Oven is a piece of cake too, as each button is neatly labelled, plus you´ll find instructions under the door piece if you´re stuck for heating instructions. The dial is also easy to use to help set your timings and to scroll through different power wattages, which makes a change from some microwaves which have cheap buttons stuck to the front which are a chore to press. It´s also easy to clean, as Samsung has lined the inside of its Smart Oven with a smooth ceramic interior, meaning all you really need is a wet cloth to make it sparkly clean. Oh, and best of all, it connects to a regular mains socket, so it´s easy to move apartments when you do.
The bad: - There´s not much to fault Samsung´s Smart Oven for: it´s a stellar performer in all respects. You might struggle to fit it into your kitchen if you have a smaller worktop area, and the front-loading door, which pulls down and outwards like a conventional oven, might not fit in some situations, but Samsung´s appliance is definitely worth a home in your kitchen. That brings us to the price tag: unfortunately, it´s quite pricey. Samsung´s set the retail price for around £350, making it an expensive mini oven and quite the investment if you´re just looking to heat up your soup. However, if you think you´ll be using the extensive array of features on a full-time basis, or you need an additional oven to help cook the smaller bits while you´re preparing your roast, Samsung´s Smart Oven is right on point.
If you´re after a brand new microwave and feeling flush, you can´t go wrong with Samsung´s massive Smart Oven: you´ll use it for all your meals from now on. We also love that you can make yoghurt and bread in the Smart Oven, and that it packs a grill and and oven too - as an extra oven/grill is a useful thing to have if you´re cooking for guests. If you have the room for it, and a little bit of extra cash to spend on a kitchen accessory, we can´t recommend Samsung´s Smart Oven enough.
