Testurteil: "4 out of 5 stars"
Test: Einzeltest: SilverStone Raven RV03
Zitat: Pro: + Excellent air-cooled performance
+ Shorter than its predecessors
+ Well laid out interior
+ It´s something different
+ Competitive pricing
Con: - Looks are an acquired taste
- Cumbersome front storage bays
- Requires specific components for optimum use
If you can stomach the Raven RV03´s exterior aesthetics, there´s a lot to like about SilverStone´s unorthodox design. Proving to be a positive step up from the well-received RV02, this third-generation model offers a reorganised interior that facilitates a greater number of storage bays, a wider variety of cooling configurations and more efficient cable management. Better still, it does all that at a lower price point. For a fraction below £100, the RV03 offers class-leading performance and a well-stocked feature list. Traditional builders may prefer the familiarity of a Cooler Master HAF 932 or the sophistication of Corsair´s Obsidian 650D, but if you´re looking for something different, SilverStone´s Raven could well be it. Bottom line: Few sub-£100 chassis offer this level of performance and functionality. Get past the looks, and you´ll find the Raven RV03 is well worthy of consideration for a high-end gaming rig.
