Test: Einzeltest: Silverstone SG06 ITX Form Factor Case
Zitat: The SG06 is a great alternative to a pre-build ITX rig. With the SG06 you have the beginnings of having a new build that you can totally customize from the ground up. You are not stuck with whatever components that someone else wants you to have. With the growing amounts of ITX motherboards you have the choice of AMD or Intel or even Via. You even have your choice of motherboard manufacturers like Jetway, Intel and Zotac. Silverstone had a large amount of the SFF market with cases like the SG03 and other cases and I am sure that will own a major amount of the ITX market as well. And don´t let the size fool you, yes it only house a very small motherboard but it can support GPU cards as long as nine inches. That means you will not be shorted if you are a gamer. Many cards fits in the realm like the Nvidia GTS 250 and the AMD HD 4850. And if you are a gamer, that is on the go all the time and you will not have any issues to dislike the SG06 as it can be easily packed in your tote. If you are not a gamer, then maybe you are a movie buff or just need a computer for your home office. The SG06 can serve both needs very well. No matter how up-scale your media center equipment is, this case will blend in perfectly and cleanly. Mated with a small SSD and a massive 3.5" drive you can have a great video and music jukebox. The only negatives I see in the SG06 is that it does require a slim-line optical drive that can be hard to find locally in some areas. And they are pricier that the standard 5.25" optical drive adding to the overall cost of the rig. The SG06 is a great looking SFF case that I enjoyed spending the time to build. I would like to thank Muriel and the gang at Silverstone for allowing us to review this case.
