Test: Einzeltest: Sony Ericsson Satio 12mp smartphone
Zitat: Pros: Awesome camera, nice music player, speedy processor
Cons: Aging web browser, dubious text entry methods, poor implementation of touchscreen gestures
Overall, the Sony Ericsson Satio is a great camera phone, but the S60 UI feels very dated and stifles the experience somewhat. We were impressed with the music player sound quality and data speeds, but felt let down by the awkward web browser and fiddly text entry. But it´s also nice to see Sony Ericsson including things like decent headphones and an 8GB microSDHC card, rather than the tacky headphones and small capacity card that you get with many other handsets these days. In conclusion, if your primary concern is to have a phone with a great camera and a good music player, then look no further. However, if you want a really slick user experience, a tactile web browser, and a built-in app download service, then look elsewhere, because many other smartphones offer a richer all-round experience than the Satio. All things considered, we at MobileBurn.com give the Sony Ericsson Satio a "Highly Recommended" rating, because although the user experience is slightly lacking, all the functions of the phone are still mightily impressive, and there was little else to fault.
