Analoge Power in seiner ursprünglichen Form Der Model D ist monophon spielbar und punktet nach wie vor mit einem vollanalogen Signalweg. Jeder der drei Oszillatoren verfügt über sechs Wellenformen (Dreieck Sharktooth Sägezahn Rechteck zwei Puls-Varianten) und hat einen weiten Frequenzbereich von fünf Oktavlagen zuzüglich Low. Die Oszillatoren 2 und 3 sind zusätzlich mit Fine-Reglern ausgestattet um kleinere Frequenzabstände einzustellen. Charakteristisch für Moog-Oszillatoren sind ein gewisser Impact und eine Strahlkraft die den markanten Sound maßgeblich geprägt haben.Der nachfolgende Mixer bietet insgesamt fünf Eingänge mit Pegelregler und Mute-Schalter drei davon sind den Oszillatoren zugedacht die anderen beiden für den Rauschgenerator der wahlweise weißes oder rosa Rauschen erzeugt und den Audioeingang.Das aufwendig erzeugte Klangspektrum mündet in ein resonantes 24dB Lowpass Filter welches die meisten als das Moog-Filter überhaupt kennen dürften.
