Art.Nr.: 300060789 Artikelbezeichnung: 1:72 Ki-61-Id Hien This scale plastic model kit accurately depicts the Kawasaki Ki-61-Id Hien. The Hien was officially adopted by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1943, and stood out among its Japanese aircraft contemporaries in the Pacific War on account of its liquid-cooled Ha-40 engine, slimline fuselage and long, elegant wing. A number of different variants were produced, among them the Ki-61-Id which featured a 20cm-elongated nose to house 20mm cannons, plus 12.7mm machine guns in the wing. In fact, with 1,360 units it was the most prolifically produced Hien variant; its superior performance at higher altitudes meant that it was often given the brief of taking on incoming U.S. B29 bombers in the skies around the home islands of Japan.
Art.Nr.: 300024125 Art.bezeichnung: 1:24 Castrol Celica When the curtain went up on the 1993 World Rally Championships, the "92 title winning Toyota Team of Europe were ready to take on their capable rivals Lancia, Ford, Subaru, Mitsubishi, and the others, making this Monte Carlo Rally a very exciting event for motorsports fans. Toyota"s highly sophisticated Celica GT-Four RC, with driver Didier Auriol at the wheel, showed impressive performance by out-running all competition to dominate this first round of the season. Regarded as one of the most technologically advanced and potent rally racing machines available today, the Celica GT-Four RC is powered by a 2 liter, liquid cooled in-line four cylinder DOHC, turbocharged engine, capable of yielding 299 HP and 45.9kg/m of torque. This tremendous power is channeled via 6-speed gearbox to all four wheels. The electronically controlled torque-splitter distributes 50:50 front/rear power under normal operations, but is capable of automatically shifting to other ratios when the power distribution sensor detects a change in road surface conditions or even driving style. Night running equipment used during Monte Carlo Rally included quadruple spot-lamps plus cornering lamps that made the racer look even more massive.

Art.Nr.: 300024213 Artikelbezeichnung: 1:24 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V won the 1998 WRC Manufacturer's Title, and T. Makinen earned the Driver's Title in the same year. The continuing refinement of the car for the 1999 Rally season led to the development of the Evolution VI. The street car version of the Evolution VI was announced in January, 1999 and utilizes the experience derived from rallying. The first modifications centered on the aggressive exterior. On the right side of the bumper, the oil cooler air intake was enlarged and an air outlet on the right side was created to improve efficiency. To improve the radiator airflow, the license plate was offset to the left. The rear spoiler is a delta type twin wicker with an adjustable angle on the upper wing, this increases downforce for extra stability. Reliable, abundant power is provided by the 4G63 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine with an intercooled turbocharger. Power is transferred through a full-time 4WD transmission to the wheels, the front features a helical limited slip differential, the center is equipped with a viscous LSD, the rear has an Active Yaw Control differential. The front wheels are suspended on Macpherson struts, the rear use multi-links. Additional high performance features were incorporated into the car, resulting in an exceptional vehicle with superior handling. Mitsubishi generously endowed the Lancer Evolution VI with their know-how and experience, creating a rally capable sports car.
Art.Nr.: 300060781 Artikelbezeichnung: 1:72 II-2 Stormovik The Ilyushin Il-2 Shuturmovik was the Russian military's representative ground-attack aircraft during WWII. Over 36,000 examples were built by the end of the war, making it the most produced military aircraft in aviation history. The aircraft was characterized by armor that was integrated into its airframe to provide protection for vital areas such as the cockpit, engine, and fuel tank. Production of the single-seat version of the Il-2 began in March 1941 but severe losses led to the development of a two-seat version with a rear gunner. A version which featured outer wing sections swept back at 15 degrees for a better center of gravity was introduced in late- 1943. Together with the T-34 tank, the Il-2 contributed greatly to the eventual Russian victory. The Tamiya 1/72 aircraft model faithfully captures all the details of this historic aircraft. The Il2 is also available in 1/48 scale for those modelers who have extra display space in their war bird collection.
Art.Nr.: 300024065 Artikelbezeichnung: 1:24 Porsche 959 The Porsche 959 was first unveiled at the 1983 Frankfurt auto show as a study for a full time 4 wheel drive Group B super sports car. Back then, the automobile was still far from being completed and its potential a mystery. The 959's awesome capabilities matured through thorough research and competition experience with the automobile. It demonstrated its outstanding abilities during the grueling Paris-Dakar Rally, and the Le Mans 24 hour endurance race. Porsche has taken their race car technology and put it into the 959, to produce a car that provides every comfort, with smooth running and the low interior noise expected of a road car, while offering high safety reserves. Thus the 959, despite its massive 450hp engine power, can be drive easily at its lower RPM ranges. The 2848cc engine is a descendent of the famous 956 and 962 Porsche Group C racer. It is an air/liquid cooled, flat 6 cylinder, DOHC equipped with two turbochargers, providing a top speed of more than 300km/h. The 959 maintains superb acceleration under all driving conditions, yet it also achieves short braking distances that prove to be a reassuring factor for all classes of drivers. The hollow wheel spokes increase air volume to the brakes and accommodate the fat, low profile Dunlop Denloc tires, and is equipped with a pressure sensor to detect punctures. The Porsche 959 is the car that raised the standard of sports car thinking to a new plateau, by exceeding every known yardstick of handling and performance.
