Testurteil: "7 out of 10"
Test: Einzeltest: AudioEngine P4
Zitat: Pros: + Very compact, quality components, crisp, clean midrange
Cons: - Bass isn´t very convincing, treble can be a little harsh
There are no stiffs in this test, and any of these speakers will do a perfectly capable job of filling a small to medium sized room with quality sound. The AudioEngine has a lot of things going for it, including its compact dimensions and low price, but in this company the sound quality doesn´t quite make the grade. The Monitor Audio Bronze BR2 is capable of delivering an impressive sound but its rather dowdy style loses it some kudos in comparison with the two other contenders. Of those, we really liked the Dali Lektor 1, which delivered a beautifully detailed and powerful performance for such a compact speaker, but for overall sound quality, as well as style, grace and all-round ability, the Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 comes out on top.
