Zitat: The good: + So light, that it actually baffles your senses: it’s a bit like picking up a block of polystyrene when you’ve expected to lift a house brick. This is also an extremely sexy board to look at. There’s no top-sheet, just a clear laminate to showcase the exquisite carbon fibre composite construction. It’s not all looks and touch, get it doing what it is designed for out on the slopes and this is a pretty amazing board. It is very stiff and this means it handles superbly at high speed, rock solid with not chatter or wobbles. That stiffness also provides plenty of snap. It’s an easy game on the Method to pop serious ollie height even off the flat. The bad: - The only real complaint about the Method is it’s staggeringly expensive price tag. It is arguably one of the best performing boards ever made, but there are many excellent decks fighting for attention at the moment and the Method isn’t doubly as good as the best of the rest. Yet double, if not triple the money is what Burton is asking you to part with. As good as it is, it’s not the board for everyone and if you are after a flexi jib board forget about buying this one, it’s way too stiff. At a time when board technology has been pushing boundaries for a few seasons now, this is the star at the top of the tree. Innovative yet well thought out use of exotic materials has created a sublime performer – at a price.
