Test: Einzeltest: LG KC550 5 megapixel camera phone
Zitat: Pros: Good Camera, Bluetooth A2DP, stylish design
Cons: No 3G, poor web browser, tri-band only
The LG KC550 is a very respectable handset for the money. It features many of the same great functions as its ´Black Label´ brother, the LG Secret, but for a fraction of the price. The quality of the shots we got from the device´s camera were better than we expected, which is good, as this is the device´s main selling point. The video camera was also pretty good, despite not providing us with any 30fps videos like it´s supposed to. So if you´re after an affordable camera phone, the KC550 should definitely be toward the top of your list. However, there are some flaws, and cutbacks have been made in various areas to allow for the great camera. Most notably, the device is only 2G capable, somewhat limiting the device´s web browsing capabilities. To add to this, the device´s web browser itself is also very limited, with no HTML compatibility. 3G capabilities would be very welcome, but this would most certainly add to the device´s cost. Overall, the LG KC550 is a very capable camera phone, with stylish looks and an attractive price-tag. I give the LG KC550 a "Highly Recommended" rating, due to its great strengths as a camera phone. However, the lack of 3G could ruin it for those who want more multimedia clout. Still, if you´re looking for a well-priced phone, purely for photo abilities and little else, then the LG KC550 is definitely for you.
