It also comes with a good software package and as we expect from Plextor an excellent warranty (collect and return). It very easy to setup, and you don’t need to have any special knowledge on NAS or networking. The design is simple, but it looks cute and you can have it in your living room, close to your PC or media player, and why not both.The main negative points: The main negative that we found was the slow boot time, it took one minute to boot. The other part that we didn’t like was the slow write speeds.To sum up, this is what we would say: “The Plextor PX-NAS2 is average when it come to reading/writing speeds but it’s beautifully designed and well built, it also comes with a two year collect and return warranty”.Because of the slow loading, and write/read speed we decided to rate this as “Good”.
