Jedes Mal nach so einer Tat stellen sich die gleichen Fragen auf die bisher, so scheint es zumindest noch nicht ausreichend Antwort gegeben werden konnte. [...] In dem nachfolgendem Abschnitt werden die psychischen Vorerkrankungen von School Shootern näher betrachtet. Dabei wird sich auf die Ergebnisse von Peter Langman (2009) bezogen. Als weiterer möglicher Auslöser wird anschließend die Rolle der Phantasie näher erläutert. In Punkt 4 wird zunächst der Tatablauf der School Shootings von Littleton, Red Lake und Erfurt beschrieben. Daraufhin wird das Leben der Täter betrachtet. Sie werden auf ihre psychischen Vorerkrankungen und die Rolle ihrer Phantasie hin untersucht. Auf die neueren deutschen School Shootings wird aufgrund der noch geringen Literatur nicht eingegangen. Da die Forschung in den USA weiter fortgeschritten ist als in Deutschland, werden auch amerikanische School Shootings herangezogen. Die aktuelle Diskussion über die Rolle der Massenmedien wird in einem Exkurs kurz angerissen.Zunächst wird das ¿Threat Management¿ vorgestellt, bevor dargelegt wird, wie Schüler, Lehrer, Eltern und die Schule präventiv handeln können. Das Gewaltpräventionsprogramm ¿Lebenslust mit Lars und Lisä und eine Hilfestellung zur Thematisierung von School Shootings in der Klasse werden ebenfalls aufgezeigt. Abschließend wird in einem Resümee die Arbeit noch einmal zusammengefasst.
