LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing Bagulkar, B: Romanowsky Stains A1026417621
In recent years, immunophenotying and cytogenetic analysis have become increasingly important in characterizing hematological neoplasms whilst the role of cytochemistry has diminished. Despite advances in recent years careful microscopical examination of romanowsky stained peripheral blood and bone marrow films remains fundamental in hematological diagnosis. Since the nineteenth century Romanowsky stains such as Giemsa's and Leishman's have provided the basis of recognizing, and indeed categorizing, the normal and pathological cells of peripheral blood and bone marrow. An advantage of Romanowsky staining for routine hematology is the highly polychrome image produced. Formation of the purple colour, i.e. the Romanowsky-Giemsa effect (RGE), is peculiar to these stains. So distinguishing between nuclear chromatin and basophilic cytoplasm, and between granules and cytoplasm, is harder with routine haematoxylin and eosin (H & E) than with Romanowsky staining.

LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing Haspers, A: Childless Holidays A1023885433
Crying children...Everyone has those moments when you just do not want to be surrounded by them. Especially holidays are seen as a time to relax and revive. For some people children and holiday pleasure cannot be combined, they prefer a holiday without children. This book will deal with childless holidays, holidays where children do not take part in. What are the wishes of customers and what are the underlying reasons to choose this type of holiday? A sociological study was conducted to find out about this. To clarify more of this upcoming phenomenon changes in society regarding children and upbringing are also described. Next to the consumer and sociological side the supply side is also researched, what do suppliers of the tourism industry have to offer to childless holidaymakers and how do they promote childless holidays? By examining the different sides a clear picture of the situation around childless holidays arises.

LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing Sutradhar, K: Natural Polymer A1026003265
In recent years, in association with progress and innovation in the field of pharmaceutical technology, there has been an increasing effort to develop sustained release dosage forms for many drugs due to its advantages in safety and efficacy over immediate release drug products. The intent of this research was to design matrix tablets of Metformin hydrochoride using Ispaghula husk powder and to study its release retardant activity. Natural materials have advantages over synthetic ones since they are chemically inert, nontoxic, inexpensive, biodegradable and widely available. Tablets were prepared using wet granulation technique with increasing concentration of Ispaghula husk powder to the drug. Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometer (FTIR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) studies were performed and the surface morphology and particle shape was evaluated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The drug release patterns were explained in different kinetic models and found better release compared to marketed products. From the study It is evident that Ispaghula husk powder can be used as a natural matrix forming polymer for preparing sustained release matrix tablets.
LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing Hasan, A: Occupational Stress A1023359234
We are living in the era of growing complexities and pressure where human constitutions and capacities are being taxed severely. The stress relating with occupation or profession is called occupational stress. We can broadly classify all the sources of occupation stress into two broad categories i.e. individual characteristics and work setting variables. Different people perceive occupational stress differently because of their personality type. Now days when India is on the verge of becoming a developed nation, we can not ignore the role of women. In India women's heavier responsibilities for families also affect them at working place. Moreover, there are few personal variables like type of personality, marital status, and family type also influence their level of occupational stress. The present investigation has been undertaken to provide the empirical answers of the following questions: What is the effect of personal variable on the level of occupational stress of working women? What is the difference in the level of occupational stress of working women of different profession in relation to age, marital status and family type etc?
LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing Wahba, N: Nocardia species A1023436363
Milk is highly essential food in our life, even if considered as a highly favorable medium for multiplication of different types of microorganisms including disease-producing bacteria as Nocardia species, especially if milk is produced, stored, or handled under poor sanitary conditions. Nocardia species continue to be highly dangerous human pathogens. There is an increase interest of Nocardia species particularly N.asteroides as health risk affecting both human and animal. Also, because of the involvement of milk in human infection. The genus Nocardia was named after Nocard in, 1888 which described a disease of bovine farcy and lymphatic disease of cattle. The members of the genus Nocardia are associated with the group of microorganisms known as the aerobic actinomycetes and belong to the family mycobacteriacae. The Nocardiae contain tuberculostearic acid but differ from the mycobacteriacae by possession of shorter chained [40 to 50 carbon] mycolic acid.

LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing Subawi, H: Sago Palm A1029691814
Sago palm is believed to be the most important starch food in twenty first century. The sago palm trees originally derived from the area extending from Eastern Melanesia to South East Asia, primarily Indonesia. Nowadays Indonesia covers 63% of sago palm plantation in the world, most of them grow as wild stands. Unfortunately, the utilization of sago starch in this country is still as low as 2% of their potential yield. Sago starch has most broad range of applications. The sago palm is the most productive starch crops for human food security. The modified starch plays main role in applied industries. This book clearly opens our views about benefits of starch derivatives products such as glucose, fructose, sorbitol, vitamin, monosodium glutamate, bioethanol and bioplastics. Sago palm is one of the most productive energy crops suitable for liquid fuels and also bioplastics sources in the future. This book should be especially intended to professionals, students, academician, policy makers who consider starch in their works.

LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing Franco, D: Selective Migration A1019430718
Since the 1990s, EU competencies have developed rapidly in the areas of migration and asylum but have been far less able to develop regulatory competencies for labour migration from outside the EU. The only migration concerns the EU had before the Maastricht Treaty, in 1992, were the movement of EU citizens for economic purposes. Now, the European Union has been prompted in developing new policies to approach International migration in the same way. How can these actions from the EU be understood? Why is it time to have a different approach on migration?

LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing Gupta, G: Oral cancer A1026226696
There is little evidence of a strong effect of familial and genetic predisposition to oral cancer. Lip cancer is among the sites that show the strongest cancer clustering within families in the genealogical records of the Utah database, the others being leukemia, lobular breast cancer, early melanoma and adenocarcinomas of the lung in females. For cancer of the tongue, there was some evidence of increased isonomy within but not between regions. Although this could result from inherited susceptibility clustering in different regions, a more likely explanation is that environmental risk factors such as tobacco and alcohol will be common to families. For cancer of the salivary glands there was increased isonomy both within and between regions, again suggesting but not proving that genetic factors are involved; this however is consistent with reports of familial occurrence of malignant salivary tumours.
LAP LAMBERT Academic Publishing Saqib, K: Simulated Microgravity A1024997269
Male (n=30) and female (n=30) rats were divided into as control (CC), horizontal restrained (HR) and head down suspended (HDS) group for winter (20°C to 23°C) and summer season (30°C to 33°C).
