I have bough this device, since i already have a Asus ROG Router AC-5300, The Device, can be configured in multiple manners (Bridge, Access Point, and Repeater) , i configured it in all modes, and while connected to you router with a dual channel, it works brilliantly, you can even take advantage of the Gigabit ports, and get speeds arround 500/600Mbps, awesome if you wanna play online in your console.The problem is out of the blue the device...mehr

This product is simply unusable. I'm a pretty solid IT user and this is the worst product I have ever bought. It simply would not connect via wps, or any other connection method I tried. Its instructions and user manual are also useless.

Leider hängt sich das Gerät nach länger als einem Jahr immer öfter auf. Nach Wiedereinschalten geht es wieder. Dieses Verhalten kann ich für zwei Geräte des Typs bestätigen, die ich beide als Media Bridges für je zwei Ethernet-Geräte einsetze.

I have another ASUS 3-in-1 wireless extender that does not require a separate power supply. That device works much better than this one, which I purchased as a gift for my daughter. This device is anemic at best, providing intermittent connection to a router located within 15 feet away. Disappointing.

Avoid like the plague. Bought one and it worked fine until it tried to do a firmware update as it crashed partway through and wouldn't connect anymore. Got a replacement and it did exactly the same. Total rubbish

Ich habe den EA-AC87 WLAN AP / Media Bridge für € 100 erworben und dieser kann leider nichtmal Wlan Bridge spielen und gleichzeitig die Lan Ports freigeben. Für diesen Preis leider eine Frechheit, bis dato war ich von Asus im Privatanwederbereich überzeugt. Das jedoch ist ein Fragwürdiges Produkt.2,4 GHz wird nicht unterstützt.

I bought the device to mitigate dropouts I've got on my AVM Fritz and TP Link powerline, although 1GB link speed was established.After connecting with my Orbi, a link speed of 784Mbit only was established, more importantly, the dropouts are gone and the sat-server is streaming now uninterrupted to the TV / Apple TV.
