Il display LCD ha una risoluzione incredibile (1152000 pixel) ed una qualità altissima, così come l´obiettivo LEICA con trattamento Nano Surface Coating. A completare il carattere tecnologico della videocamera troveremo il sistema Crystal Engine Pro II.

Mic and headphone sockets and a standard camera shoe come in handy should you wish to add an accessory such as a professional microphone on top, giving it the flexibility needed for wannabe movie-makers. The bad: - Compared to the best camcorders on the market colours appear slightly washed out. Pictures tend to suffer from unwanted noise and lack the depth and definition of pricier counterparts, and subjects can appear overexposed. Performance is still very credible indeed, but not quite the best. As mentioned it is unfortunate that you’ll need to spend extra to shoot in 3D. The same can be said for much of the competition, but it will cost you around £250 for an attachment (the VW-CLT2E lens) to do so. The Panasonic HC-X900 is a decent camcorder, but it just about fails to live up to the standards set by its more illustrious counterparts. Performance is good, just not amazing in testing.

Zitat: The HC-X900 produces beautifully detailed video that´s at least as sharp as the competition. It has all the features enthusiasts demand, including a rear viewfinder: a rare sighting on a camcorder these days. There´s not enough here to warrant an upgrade if you bought the HDC-SD900, though.
