Test: Einzeltest: Lamptron FC5 Fan Controller
Zitat: The installation of this fan controller was very easy and can be performed with ease by any other user. The user has a lot of display colors to choose from and this feature helps both ways : -people don´t get bored of the device because after a display color change, it´s like a new one; -users can match their case theme, for example green, red, if applicable, with the color of the display. Compared with the other fan controllers I have tested in the past, this one has also displays the instantaneous voltage for each of the channels, which is very useful. The temperature probes I have tested are very responsive, and this is a positive thing because a lot of components in the computer get warm almost right away after the computer is powered up. This fan controller from Lamptron does not really have negative points, but I have some mentions for the next revisions: -instead of a Molex connector on the fan controllers´ PCB (to power on the controller) , I would have liked to have a smaller 4-pin connector, like we can see on Scythe fan controllers for example; -a very interesting thing would be to have the fan extensions completely sleeved; -it would be nice to have a little button on the frontal part which can be pressed to change the color of the display.
