Every human being is basically, consistently and irretrievably self-centered. This is a universal truth. God knows this and that is the reason every command of God is predicated upon the assumption of self-interest. For example we are told "Give". Why? That "it will be given unto you". Self-interest. Again "judge not". Why? "Lest you be judged". Self-interest. The Bible establishes the fact that God is the Owner; man is the steward, not even a partner. "All things were made through Him, and without Him was nothing made that was made" (John 1:3). God not only owns the natural world, He also owns all living creatures according to their kinds. We must therefore exercise faithful stewardship in order to benefit from God's gift in every area of divine provision including natural, spiritual physical, environmental, business. Personal stewardship is the best means of expressing gratitude to God for his love to us in Christ.

This book has four articles giving the reader empirical analysis and theoretical reviews on effectiveness of International Standards Setting Process, Evolution of Accounting Equation, Corporate Social Responsibility and Factors Affecting Exchange Rate Movements. The book shows how International standards setting process favors developed countries leaving developing ones as mere receivers of the orders given. In this book accounting equation is revealed as evolving over time and not static as many accountants do think since as time goes Assets never equal Capital plus Liability unless intangibles are included. Corporate social responsibility also is shown in this book as a source and a tool for sustainable development in developing countries to attain national visions and 2015, 8 MDGs. Finally the book shows factors affecting exchange rates movements in developing countries. In this finance aspects the obvious factors which citizens and experts think as causes of exchange rates are not significant, hence the obvious is not obvious.Therefore this book gives the reader significant variables affecting exchange rates fluctuation in developing countries.

Art and Craft do go hand in hand and the beauty it brings when these two elements are combined is irreplaceable. I have always admired hand-made crafts,especially when it comes to flower making. Artificial hand-made flower makers are not found in abundance all around the world as machines have taken over and life has become too fast paced. Thus,in my research, I have interviewed and spoken to people from various walks of life who are deeply linked to this precious craft. This book aims to create awareness about the exquisite art of artificial hand-made flower making and its value. I have always believed that nothing can replace the beauty and simplicity of a hand-made craft. Machines might have taken over and the world might have progressed,but the charm and value a hand-made craft holds is incomparable and nothing can take its place.

We have all heard the expression that our world is shrinking. To a large extent, the strength of our economy depends on our ability to do business with countries in other parts of the world. To stay competitive in the world market, the countries must design products that meet the needs of people from all over the world and advertise the goods with awareness of the diversities. So, just producing products isn't a sufficient ticket for serving our products to the world consumers. 'How you serve' is becoming more important as well as 'what you serve'. In addition, we must develop strategies for the right advertising to the target audience. If we want to sell our products and make profitable business deals with people from other countries, it only makes good business sense to develop and understanding and appreciation of their diversities. The aim of this study is to contribute information for effective marketing by providing awareness of diversity influences on international advertising strategies.

There will be automatic track switching and continuous monitoring of trains. When the two trains are on the same track and there is a chance of collision the train will be shifted to next track automatically. It is only possible when we continuously monitor the status of the trains. It could be a reliable solution for railway authorities, by consuming low cost and above all will decrease the chances of accidents, which we all think is a great achievement.

Carbon Nanotube are one of the allotropes of carbon which can be described as a sheet of graphite rolled into a hollow cylinder constructed from hexagonal rings of carbon with diameters ranging from one to tens of nanometers, and with lengths up to micrometer.

Education plays a vital role in human capital formation in a knowledge economy. The situation of education sector in Pakistan has not been encouraging due to multiple reasons. High skilled workforce has become a basic need to meet the challenges of contemporary era of competitiveness and efficiency. National Education Policies have realization that teachers have to play a pivotal role in delivering quality education at all levels. Quality and effectiveness of school education depend on quality of properly trained teachers. Pre and in-service training of secondary level teachers in formal and/or non-formal systems are keys to equip students with necessary knowledge before entering to higher grades. This book presents a comparative analysis of formal and non-formal streams and findings of survey study of teachers, tutors, student, staff and experts engaged in teacher training programs in both systems. It concludes that both systems are equally good, interdependent and complimentary if implemented and are availed in letter and spirit. Trained and professional teachers can lead to create a vibrant generation of high skilled work force in Pakistan.

The study proposes a scientific view on development of Russia in Mongol period, which differs from the modern mainstream of Russian science. The hypothesis is put forward that Russia has lagged behind West in the technical and political aspects before the Mongol conquest. Russian princedoms suffered from a rarity of the population. The level of military affairs in the Russian States was lower as on West and in Mongolia. Mongolian conquest resulted in an outflow of money capital and the decline of crafts in Russia. Russia was included into the economy of Mongolian Empire as a supplier of fur and an importer of manufactured goods. The strengthening of the Moscow Principality in the XIV century became as result of economic and military trends in Eastern Russia and Golden Horde, in particular the decline of neighboring principalities.

Lands surfaces submitted to salt stress are increasing day by day in arid, semiarid regions and especially in the Mediterranean area. Nearly 40% of world's surface has salinity problems. At present, out of 1.5 billion hectares of cultivated land around the world, about 77 million hectares (5%) is affected by excess salt content. Salt stress is an abiotic stress that can affect the plant growth and physiological and biochemical activities such as photosynthesis activity and chlorophyll content. Decades of research have been devoted to understand the physiological mechanisms underlying the ability of plants to tolerate abiotic stress, in particularly, salinity and drought stresses. Ion distribution is one of different strategies commonly used by plants to improve salt stress tolerance. This book provides a physiological mechanism based upon various indices involved in cotton salt tolerance. Thereby, the book is recommended to all those who are interested in plant salt tolerance.

Implant placement immediately after extraction followed by an immediate provisional restoration can be a very rewarding way to provide implant therapy to our patients .It provides significant benefit both to the patient and the dentist compared with traditional delayed protocol of waiting for 6 months . It results in an improved preservation of the soft tissue drape and the bone architecture compared with their collapse after tooth extraction.In selected situations,it can even result in avoidance of bone augmentation and soft tissue grafts .The procedure also reduces the number of surgeries which may be beneficial both to the dentist and the patient .Factors critical to success include good initial implant primary stability in good quality bone. However ,immediate implant placement is technically challenging and should only be undertaken by clinicians with considerable experience with implant dentistry , both surgically and prosthetically.

Cancer at present is a major global problem. Majority of patients suffer to advanced stage that unfortunately is not responsive to curative treatment. Hence palliative care is needed in most of the cancer patients. n developing countries, the proportion requiring palliative care is nearly almost 80%. The goal of the palliative care must be to provide best possible quality of life for the patient and his family. Nearly 75% of patients with advanced cancer experience pain, very often in conjuction with many other symptoms like anorexia, dyspnea, nausea or vomiting, depression, malnutrition, dry mouth, anxiety, skin problems and sleeplessness. For such patients, the only available management is palliative care, which focuses primarily on pain relief. This study was done to define the role of palliative drug therapy in advanced cancer patients. As cancer chemotherapy is marching ahead with rapid advancement, further epidemiological research in palliative care is warranted with larger number of patients.

Ilam and Jhapa districts are the major tea producing areas of Nepal. Despite its profitability, various problems have been observed in this sector. An exploratory research was conducted by the author involving small tea growers and stakeholders involved in tea promotion in Ilam and Jhapa districts of Nepal. The respondents were assessed for their profile characteristics, level of knowledge and adoption of recommended tea cultivation practices. Also, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) of tea cultivation perceived by the tea growers as well as the stakeholders were analyzed and presented. Based on the research, suitable strategies were recommended for the further promotion of tea cultivation in Nepal.

Hepatitis C virus (HCV) has chronically infected a large number of patients, leading to the development of steatosis, cirrhosis and, ultimately, hepatocellular carcinoma. The pathogenesis of HCV has not been fully explained, although steatosis is considered to contribute greatly to liver fibrosis progression, modulating host-cell lipid metabolism. Suspected underlying molecular mechanisms include interactions between HCV proteins and intracellular lipid metabolic pathways. Recent studies have suggested that the nucleocapsid of HCV (core) acts as a pathogenic factor involved in lipid droplet accumulation, changes in lipogenic gene expression and/or the activity of lipogenic proteins in a genotype-specific manner. In this book, we have tried to summarize the current knowledge regarding HCV-induced steatosis and the regulation of expression of host genes and receptors that aid in the viral life cycle and promote liver diseases.

It is ideal in today's situation and it is important that these clinical decisions making incorporate the best available scientific evidence in order to maximize the potential for successful patient care out come.

As much as agriculture is important to meet the food requirements of people, the waste disposal has become an increasing necessity, especially in India, a heavily populated country. Simple methods like burning of the agricultural residues is not recommended as these residues or wastes can be used economically for the production of certain valuable products. This study encompasses the use of lentil wastes for the microbial production of alkaline proteases by solid state fermentation and will be of use to any biologist, agriculturist or economist. Alkaline proteases are of great commercial value and have numerous applications in industry, research, medicine, detergents, food and pharmaceuticals. Needless to say the utilization of agricultural wastes for production of alkaline proteases by microorganisms is effective in management of agrowastes besides yielding value added products on economical substrates.

It becomes difficult to relate the former history of the Azores (being discovered by the Portuguese in 1430s), with recent information about its dolmen constructions, especially when these display specific characteristics like entrances facing east (as it is common to the megalithic culture), building technology (overlay of enormous boulders), cup and cut marks applied to rocks and rock basins (called Bullauns in Ireland) of all sizes, as well as series of chaotic inscriptions. Inequalities has become a sufficient tool in sciences especially in mathematical analysis. Hardy, Littlewood and Polya, in 1934, developed an excellent pioneering work in their book entitled ''Inequalities''. Since then, Hardy-type inequalities has received numerous attention of many researchers. The concern of researchers in this area has been to obtain a simpler method of proof to various useful inequalities. Later, weight functions were introduced and the interest was shifted to finding the necessary and sufficient conditions that will guarantee the validity of the inequalities. This monograph provided a simpler approach to the prove of some inequalities related to Hardy using standard methods and is designed to be used either as a textbook for a formal exposition or as a supplementary to all current standard texts on inequalities and mathematics in general.

In this book , i have make an approach to the development of a software based solenoidal guitar. The chords of guitar are coupled with the solenoid which operates with the software to play the music. It is based on the application of solenoid that when a current flows through a solenoid it leads to the production of magnetic field in the solenoid and the iron core inside it moves forward. This motion of solenoid is used to press the chords of guitar and leads to the formation of a tone. For this a the conversion of a song in the midi file is required and then this is fed to the solenoid based circuit. According to the program the current is fed to the specific solenoid which press the cord and produces the corresponding tune. The application of this project is that it makes everyone to play guitar . Here you just needs the midi file and you just have to moves your hands on the chords with the strip and all other tunes are played by guitar itself.
